Over-All Plan

Since 2008, NGS has embarked on a phased evolution to build, remodel and otherwise upgrade all its owned
and leased facilities according to LEED Standards.

Institutional Administrative Headquarters
Falmouth, Cape Cod, MA

NGS recently completed a substantive renovation to its headquarters building in Falmouth, Cape Cod, Massachusetts.  
Key to the renovation process was ensuring that improvements were completed utilizing environmentally conscious and
sustainable products. 

Among the improvements were:

• Replacement of 100 light fixtures to recyclable fixtures                    
• Replacement of lights to high efficiency E5 and E8 bulbs  
• Replacement of exit lights to LED bulbs  
• Replacement of emergency lighting to LED bulbs  
• Replacement of all carpet to materials pre-stamped for recycling          
• Replacement of 15 windows to more energy efficient models  
• Use of low VOC paints  
• Use of low VOC adhesives  
• Replacement of all existing toilets with “low-flush” models  
• Replacement of all faucets with “low flow” models  
• Re-use of materials where possible
