As the end of summer draws near, we commonly think of going back to school. We at NGS are looking forward to beginning our fall 2012 Bachelor of Science* and Master of Science cohorts on September 20, 2012 and Doctor of Business Administration* cohorts on October 11, 2012. There are a number of new and updated policies that we will be implementing with this class launch to ensure student success including the launch of our new learning management system, Jenzabar.
I have also received positive feedback recently from students regarding changes that are already taking place such as improved customer service, enhanced faculty assignments and better processing of grades and transcripts. As our institution continues to grow, we are focused on even more positive changes through continuous process improvement.
There are also an increasing amount of opportunities for NGS alumni to further their education with programs such as the Doctor of Business Administration* and the new Post-Doctoral Certificate Program* and new degree specializations including Health Systems, Food Safety and Bio-Medical Technology. Those interested in more information on these opportunities should contact info@ngs.edu.
As always, thank you for your continued support and dedication to The National Graduate School of Quality Management. I am happy to personally address any questions or concerns at jbridges@ngs.edu or 800-838-2580 ext. 115.

July 12, 2012:
In the spirit of continuous process improvement, The National Graduate School is constantly looking for ways to enhance the degree programs we offer and the processes we use, both internally and externally, to deliver these programs. After receiving feedback from some of our Doctoral students, NGS is committed to improving the learning experience for everyone involved. In our upcoming program launches, we are dedicated to streamlining communications between students, faculty and staff by providing important and relevant information in a timely and complete manner in a central, easily accessible location. This will include a central calendar and announcement board located in the NGS Portal where information is available in one place for the students and faculty of a particular cohort. This will also include providing complete and accurate course materials. Once a syllabus and calendar for deliverables are set for a course, they will not change.
NGS will also offer new tools to support the online learning process as well as detailed instruction in using these tools. We will also be evaluating and updating the way the existing tools are being used to best benefit the students and the faculty. These will include the introduction of ngs.edu email addresses for students, comprehensive instruction on the APA Style, and in-depth training in using the Digital Drop Box, Dissertation Tracker and research databases. It is our goal, and our duty, to provide a quality educational experience for each and every one of our students and as our organization prepares to celebrate our 20th Anniversary next year, we look forward to continued growth and development.
Thank you for your continued support of NGS. If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me directly at 1 800 838-2580, extension 101 or via email at jbridges@ngs.edu.
Sincerely,
Dr. John H. Bridges III
Interim President and Chief Operating Officer
