Following are lead NGS faculty for the Homeland Security Certificate Program, responsible for curriculum and course materials development, as well as class instruction.

 

 

 

Robert J. Gee, Ph.Dbob_gee102
Dr. Robert Gee is Founder and President of The National Graduate School, the nation’s only accredited college devoted to Master of Science Degrees in Quality Systems Management, and Certifications in Six Sigma and Homeland Security. He has been past Baldrige Examiner, State Quality Award Examiner in Massachusetts and Texas, and a member of the American Society for Quality Development Board.

Dr. Gee is the senior editor of The National Graduate School Benchmark Series of publications in the management of quality and six sigma. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Ottawa (Canada), and expects a second doctorate through Harvard University.

John H. Bridges III is the Executive Director, National Preparedness and Homeland Security, United States Postal Service.In addition to this prestigious government executive position, Bridges has an extensive background as a leading decision-maker in the Homeland Security arena. For example, he served as Incident Commander for the world's largest anthrax response, decontamination, and fumigation remediation to prepare for and respond to a massive biological terrorist attack in the United States. Due to his work with biological and chemical response he is also a member of the American Society for Testing and Materials E-54 Committee on Homeland Security Application, and was appointed to the American National Standards Institute's (ANSI's) Homeland Security Standards Panel (ANSI-HSSP), where he currently serves on two committees that address private sector emergency preparedness, business continuity, and biological and chemical threat agents.

John Bridges is an active Board Member to the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board, which is the U.S. accreditation body for management systems. ANAB accredits certification bodies (CBs) for ISO 9001 quality management systems (QMS) and ISO 14001 environmental management systems (EMS), as well as a number of industry-specific requirements.

Bridges served for several years on the President's Council on Sustainable Development, Environmental Management Task Force and was named a Fellow of the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management. Professor Bridges is an alumni of The National Graduate School as well a graduate of the Marine Corps Command and Staff College, the Corporate Environmental Leadership program at Yale University, the Senior Executive Fellows program at Harvard University. For his exceptional accomplishments and significant contributions related to Homeland Security he was also awarded a Doctor of Science, honoris causa from the National Graduate School in Quality Systems Management.

 

 

 

Dr. David McIntyre mcintyre_sm
Dr. David McIntyre is a former Deputy Director of the ANSER Institute for Homeland Security. While at the Institute, he has authored numerous articles and presentations on Homeland Security. He has appeared frequently as a strategy and Homeland Security expert in the international Media.

In June 2001 Dr. McIntyre retired as a colonel after a 30 year Army career, culminating as the Dean of Faculty and Academic Programs at the National War College. Dr. McIntyre holds a BS in Engineering from West Point, an MA in English and American literature from Auburn University, and a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Maryland. He is a graduate of the US Army War College and the National War College.
 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Michael Homickhomick02
Dr. Michael W. Homick has 30 years of experience in government and military service.  Throughout the years he has served with several US Intelligence agencies and as a US Diplomat with US Embassies worldwide.

Dr. Homick serves as the Training Director for the Department of Homeland Security -FEMA National Processing Service Centers He manages training in 20 programs of instruction for over 4000 full time employees and up to 12,000 part time employees at various locations nationwide.
