We are delighted that you are interested in The National Graduate School for obtaining your advanced degree. We have developed a streamlined application process and we encourage you to get started right away.  In this area you will find instructions and information to guide you through the process of becoming an NGS student.

Being an NGS student involves much more than simply achieving a business school degree or certificate, or even taking cutting-edge courses in the management of work related systems. At NGS student life means going beyond a confined campus environment to share in the personal experiences and professional networks of student and executive working professionals.

Materials/Credentials Required in Submitting a Completed Application

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
  • Substantive work experience
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Personal statement regarding commitment to tangible results
  • Completed application
  • Official transcript - school to school
  • Application fee - $50

Streamlined Application Process
Note:  Application deadline is February 25, 2008 for classes starting in March’08.

For your convenience, you can complete your application process online. These are the steps you will go through on your way to becoming an NGS student:

Application

  1. Complete your application (online)
  2. Identify 2 professional acquaintances and request references (online)
  3. Request transcripts from your BS degree grantor
  4. Complete the necessary TA Forms

Notification

  1. NGS Admissions will notify you of your acceptance (via email)
  2. When the class is set to launch, you will be invited to enroll (via email)

Enrollment

  1. Complete your enrollment form (online)
  2. Complete the new student orientation (online)
  3. Order your books for course 1 (online)
  4. You’ll now be ready for your first class

Out-of-pocket expenses can be subsidized through the use of the Federal Stafford Loan, which can also be applied to fees and books.  Books and materials will be approximately $1,400 for the program. Semester fees are $50/semester (3).  To learn more about Financial Aid, click here.
